Greetings brethren. As I write this my final monthly message, thank you for the honour and privilege it has been to serve this Grand Jurisdiction.
Reflecting on the past twelve months, it has been quite the whirlwind and adventure. Flying from coast to coast for the first time since the accident; representing this jurisdiction at several major events this year (MSA, & the 275th anniversary of St. Andrews No. 1, to name a few); the presentation of several long service awards of which two were to brethren of my own lodge which made it extra special for me; the surgery in the middle of the term put a slight damper on travel but thankfully was during the dead of winter. As I prepare for our 120th annual communication and passing the reins to our next Grand Master, I look forward to supporting this Grand Lodge for many years to come, but first a much-needed rest.
Our 120th annual communication is fast approaching, and I want to remind all the brethren that cutoff for the 2nd hotel block reservation is June 1st at the Temple Gardens Hotel as well the cutoff for ticketed events for the communication is June 5th. A copy of the registration is on the back.
I am looking forward to the final month of the term, with the completion of the visits to each of the 41 lodges of our jurisdiction, it has been exciting to see the brethren engaged throughout the province. It has also been fun attending our concordant bodies AGM’s and especially want to thank them for the hospitality given at both the Order of the Eastern Star and Royal Arch events.
